FOR ALL MEMBERSHIPS:
- One must be a member to borrow resources from the library.
- If the resources are late, a late charge will be applied.
- If one or more of the resources are returned incomplete, damaged or lost, the member can decide to replace the resource(s) or pay the replacement cost according to the replacement cost in the cataloging software.
A – Family
Each member of the family has the right to borrow resources under their family account. The annual fee gives access to books, DVD, CD, games, toys and costumes. Each family can borrow the maximum number of resources for the maximum loan period. The items can be renewed as long as the item has not been reserved by another member of the library.
B – Special needs
This membership allows the borrowing of resources labelled ‘special needs’. These resources support children with difficulties in the following areas; cognitive, sensorial, fine motor, global motor, language and communication. It is important to note that these resources have their specific use and that specialists such as occupational therapists are best informed to ensure the proper use of the material.
For members that are not members of the library CDAF, there is a membership for health professions, schools and institutions, etc for an annual fee (see membership table).
For families who are already members of the library CDAF, additional annual fee applies.
C –Mobile Library
This membership is for institutions (schools, preschools, daycares, non-profit organisations) wishing to have access to resources in French (books, DVD, livres CD, magazines…).
